The Gareth Emery Podcast

Greetings love! All the way from SS2 this is Cheeks or rather C.K. nowadays or Ceekay ( a bit weirdo though lol ) cause I seem to lose fondness over that nickname but what the heck, that is not the point of this post.

In fact the authentic point of this post is that I'm playing a role of a bad influence friend. You know, those stereotypical "pengaruh yang tidak beberapa elok untuk digaul dengan" bla bla bla bla, the ones that smokes the stick and convinces you to "take one la, come on you scared r? Be a man, man!", or those who can't wait but to sneak into clubs even when they're underaged, popping pills and asking you to join the "geng" if not you're not "in".

But don't you worry, I have not crossed over to the dark side or anything like that, only that I'm here to introduce, less than force, a gem that I've discovered in my quest to achieve rhapsodical bliss. As you all know, we'll from many I heard, said I have really "weird" taste in music, but I beg to differ, I'm just in love with an unknown genre in our region.

I just like what I like, I'm no anti-conformist or anti-mainstream, in fact though embarrassing to admit, I enjoy certain pop tunes and mainstream music, and still do because I was brought up in that era, till I met the wonderful genre of electronic music. Please don't criticise or make fun of it, its not robot music, it's just, a modernized form of baroque music if you catch my drift.

Alas, pay no attention to my rants no more if you don't want to. But if I was able to tempt you this far, then why not go all the way as I present to you my latest obsession/escapism, The Gareth Emery Podcast by none other than Gareth Emery. A little bit about Gareth Emery. Yes I know, all you are going "huh you mean Tiesto is it?" ( which I don't ) because probably thats the only word you register it in your vocabulary when you say trance, or even possibly Ferry Corsten or Cosmic Gate, but scoffing at your lack of knowledge in this field is not my intention here at any point of given time.

Gareth Emery is one of a lesser known DJ, but maybe thats accurate only to describe him a few years back, as I believe he's made a name for himself these past few years, with a growing fanbase and not to mention his podcast which is doing very well, No.1 Trance/House/Progressive ( pardon the jargons ) podcast. So if you wish to take that leap of faith, to delve into a different world, then Gareth Emery certainly won't disappoint.

Without further ado, I gladly present to you, The Gareth Emery Podcast

Check. it. out.

P.S : If you seem lost, I suggest you check out Episode 43, 51, 53 and Episode 54. These 4 are my a few of my favourite episodes, well actually almost all that I've downloaded which means yes I've never bother to track back all the way to Episode 1. But believe me those 4 are evidence enough. Have fun!
