G,R,R,R

So? whats been up fellas?

I have yet to catch the Academy Awards, tho I heard Slumdog Millionaire sweeped clean.
poor Curious Case Of Benjamin Button-- I swear it was a good movie!

I wanna c Slumdog bitches.

my relatives were over for the weekend. not funny lah. had to give my room away and all that shenannigan. was so angry, felt like my room was being raped. oh well.

YOU FEEL ME ANOT JIT? YOU ALSO DONT LIKE IT WHEN SOMEONE COME SLEEP IN UR ROOM AND YOU GET KICKED OUT TO BUNK WITH YOUR BRO KAN?

nia sing.

the worse part is that I couldn't study because they were all over the place + my room was occupied. How groose is that? I should have just spend all weekend out.

instead, i finished Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets right after Breaking Dawn.

tsh. probably the sixth time i've read that chapter of HP.

HAIH...

anyway. here's an interesting fact :

How do you go back in time?

First, you have to understand the concept of light. You know we see all things because light reflects off them/ radiates off them and our eyes catches the image right?

i'm hoping you remember that much about Physics.

moving on. take for example supernova- the images we catch in the sky.

this is a photo of supernova. now you know, supernova happens in other galaxies which are eons of lightyears away right? and a lightyear is the amout of distance traveled over time by a ray of light.

which is alot.

so in actuality, the image of the supernova you see in the sky, like the picture, had happened eons of lightyears ago.

its because it had taken that image of light to travel to our eyes, eons to reach us, because the supernova is happening so far away.

so by the time we see it, it had already happened ages ago.

mr.suresh also made another interesting comparism.

if an alien spaceship was observing us from eons of lightyears away by some chunted telescope, they would probably see the dinosaurs, because it took that image so long to travel to them.

they would probably see us, say, eons of lightyears after.

cool eh?

backing up. so, say, for instance if we could travel faster than the speed of light.

wouldn't we then, be, travelling faster than the image travelling?

that way, we would be able to look back into our past. because we're faster than the travelling image.

COOL?

thats it for the past trivia. apparently, travelling back in time isn't possible, but looking back is, if you're faster than the speed of light.

which is impossible.

therefore, we can't even see the past, let alone, travel back.

nice phys lessons lah that one.

;)

i feel better already, after that nerd trivia.

Interesting quote that "travelling back in time isn't possible, but looking back is". I always accepted that time travel is imposibble but had never thought of looking back. Cool. Nerd!

i like this theory/concept/fact/thing . i heard about it before, when i was asking my friend about why stars twinkle. he went on to explain that the stars that we see have long gone because it takes so long for the light to reach us .

but yeah . NERD.

(and i'm not talking about the schmexy pharrell variety.)

I can't believe i stumbled upon this. i feel like i'm not physicsy enough to read this (and comprehend) :P
Oohh and please tell me you're going on about all this travelling in time stuff cause you're reading the time traveller's wife?!
